Kristine + Brent | Engagement

Kristine and Brent's love for each other reflected the beauty of the autumn leaves and radiant sunbeams in the small town of McPherson, Kansas. It was an engagement session that so many photographers dream of- a beautiful couple and the perfect setting.

The two met while dragging main (something that all small town kids do). Kris was in high school and Brent was attending a local college. Fast forward several years later and they are engaged to be married! In just the few hours that I got to spend with them, it was obvious that they are so in love!

We started their engagement session in the beautiful park where Brent had proposed just a few weeks before!  This is where their engagement began, so it only made sense that their engagement photos start here as well. :)

After a quick outfit change and a short drive across town, we ended up at The Opera House. We went to the back alley and shot some fun urban-styled photos. The brick wall and the bright green tiled wall made the perfect backdrop!

Dancing during engagement photos is one of my favorite things because I love the raw emotion. The candid happiness and joy that comes to life makes my heart sing! Add a little golden glow to the mix and I might start dancing too!

We ended the evening at Kristine's family farm where she grew up. The red barns, pretty grass, hay bales, and old farm truck along with the setting sun made this spot perfect!

Many thanks to Kristine and Brent for allowing me to capture such important moments in their life. I am truly looking forward to their 2017 wedding and I cannot wait to preserve their wedding day memories! :)
