Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Radiant. Vibrant. Timeless.
Most of my formal wedding day portraits are lightly posed. This means that I will help get you in place so the poses look good, then I will encourage you to interact with each other while snapping away! During the ceremony and reception I take a more journalistic approach. I try to remain discreet while capturing all of the candid moments.
Ultimately, I want you to look at your wedding photos at your Golden Anniversary and cherish them then, just as much as you do today!
Q: Do you have experience and equipment for various lighting situations?
A: This is probably one of the most important things to ask when looking for a wedding photographer. Lighting at weddings is constantly changing and can be unpredictable. It's very important to know that your wedding photographer has the equipment and skill needed to tackle tricky lighting situations.
While I prefer outdoor and natural light, I am comfortable in shooting in many different lighting situations and have the necessary experience and equipment to do so. I would be glad to show you samples of my indoor wedding photography style so you can be confident when booking me as your photographer. Just shoot me a message and I will send you a link! :)
Q: How many photos do you deliver?
A: This varies depending on each wedding and how many hours I am shooting. On average, I deliver anywhere from 400-1500+ edited photos.
Q: We love your work and would like to know more about potentially hiring you as our wedding photographer. What is our next step?
A: I would be delighted to hear from you! Shoot me an email and we will set up a time to chat over a cup of coffee or over the phone! During your consult, we will go over your wedding details and I will gladly answer any questions that you may have about me or my wedding collections.
Q: How far in advance should we book you?
A: Ideally, the sooner, the better. Most people book their wedding photographer as soon as they have secured their wedding date and venue.
Q: We want you to be our wedding photographer! How do I reserve you for my wedding? Can you hold my date?
A: To officially book and to reserve your wedding date, I require a 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract. My availability is on a first come, first serve basis so I do not hold dates unless the deposit and contract requirements have been met.
Q: Can I make payments?
A: Yes, I accept payments. (Please note: 25% of the total is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due at least 30 days prior to your wedding date.)
Q: Who is your second shooter?
A: My second shooter will vary based on their availability and the location of your wedding. I hire an assistant that I trust will provide excellent work. It's imperative for me to have someone who values my clients just as much as I do!
Q: Will you travel to shoot my wedding?
A: Yes! Shoot me a message for travel fees for weddings outside of the Wichita, Kansas area.
